Whether you're taking your very first ride, returning to the saddle after a break, or looking to develop your riding skills, we offer a range of lessons suitable for all ages and abilities. Our experienced instructors provide a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for every rider.

15-Minute Introductory Rides – £12.00

Our 15-minute introductory rides are the perfect way to experience horse riding for the first time. Suitable for children from 3 years old through to adults, these rides are ideal for complete beginners or nervous riders who would like to build confidence before starting regular lessons.

A trained helper will lead the horse along our quiet country lane, allowing riders to become familiar with the horse and learn the basics of balance and control in a relaxed setting.

Duration: Approximately 15 minutes
Price: £12.00

Group Lessons (Maximum 8 Riders)

Our group lessons are suitable for riders of all abilities, from beginners to experienced riders. Lessons focus on developing confidence, improving balance and position, and progressing riding skills in a fun and supportive group environment.

Group lessons take place every Saturday and Sunday, with sessions available every half hour to accommodate:

• Beginners

• Novice riders

• Experienced riders

Lesson Prices:

• 30-Minute Group Lesson: £22.00

• 45-Minute Group Lesson: £30.50

Maximum of 8 riders per lesson.

Private Lessons

Private lessons provide one-to-one instruction tailored to your individual goals and ability. Whether you're learning the basics, improving your flatwork, preparing for competitions, or working on specific areas of riding, our instructors will create a lesson to suit your needs.

Private lessons are an excellent choice for riders wanting focused coaching and faster progression.

Lesson Prices:

• 30-Minute Private Lesson: £37.00

• 45-Minute Private Lesson: £47.00

Shared Private Lessons (Midweek Only)

Enjoy the benefits of a private lesson while sharing the experience with friends or family. Shared private lessons offer more personalised tuition than a group lesson while making the session more affordable.

These lessons are available midweek only.

Two Riders

• 30-Minute Lesson – £30.50 per rider

• 45-Minute Lesson – £37.00 per rider

Three Riders

• 30-Minute Lesson – £28.50 per rider

• 45-Minute Lesson – £34.50 per rider

Four Riders

• 30-Minute Lesson – £26.00 per rider

• 45-Minute Lesson – £32.00 per rider

Midweek Small Group Lessons

We also offer small midweek group lessons with a maximum of 5 riders, providing extra individual attention while still enjoying the social atmosphere of riding in a group.

Lesson Information & Booking Policy

To ensure lessons run smoothly, please read the following information before booking.

Booking & Payment

• All lessons must be booked in advance.

• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your lesson.

• Lesson prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your lesson.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, including non-attendance, will be charged the full lesson fee regardless of the reason.

Rider Weight Limit

For the welfare of our horses and ponies, we have a maximum rider weight limit of 11½ stone (73kg / 161lbs). Riders may be asked to be weighed before their lesson.

Riding Hats & Clothing

We can provide an approved riding hat free of charge if required.

If you choose to wear your own riding hat, it must comply with current safety standards, including:

• VG1

• PAS015:2011

For your safety, all riders should wear:

• Sturdy footwear with a small heel (no trainers or open-toed shoes)

• Comfortable, practical clothing suitable for riding

• Gloves are strongly recommended

• Long hair should be tied back securely
